Dan Gascon - Humor for your Health
Dan is the President of Humor for you Health, a company founded to empower people to greater health & happiness with the understanding and application of their own unique sense of humor.
Dan's work as an author, keynote speaker, educator, comedian, voice artist, improviser, writer, coach, director, television and radio host & guest has created International attention to his Humor for your Health message. He has over 15 years professional experience and has presented over 1500 times to all ages and backgrounds. Dan book, "The Humor for your Health Guidebook" and its accompanying Facilitator's Kit are both becoming Hallmarks in education, health care and human resource departments. Dan gained national recognition in 2002 when he was appointed co-chair of the Canadian Association for Therapeutic Humour. The next year he became a world Certified Laughter Leader and in early 2005 he earned membership internationally with the Applied Association of Therapeutic Humor.
Some of Dan's career highlights include published writings with the Toronto Star, and The Capital newspapers, along with magazine articles in Healthy Living Guide, Synchronicity and Business Dynamics. Dan has been a featured guest on Live It T.V., Unleashed T.V. and the A-Channel Breakfast Show. His comedy performing highlights include being a former "So you think your Funny?!" Champion, Graduate of Second City and "star" of Gasman's Comedy Show. Dan's adventures also found him dabbling in politics. He served one term as his College Student Association President and ran for Mayor of Calgary in 1983. Dan has studied Business and Broadcast Journalism and has worked in television in news, sports and weather. Always active, he has played amateur and semi-professional hockey, baseball and football. Dan is also a certified coach in several sports.

Dan resides in Calgary, Alberta, Canada with his wife and their daughter.
